Find your plant
Not sure what to buy? Answer four quick questions about your light, watering habits, pets, and experience. We'll match you with houseplants from the Plant Passport catalog that actually fit your home — each one links to a full care guide.
Question 1 of 4
How bright is the spot you have in mind?
How the match works
We score every plant in the catalog against your answers. Light is the single biggest factor in whether a houseplant thrives, so a bright, medium, or low-light spot narrows the field first. Your watering style matters next: forgetful waterers do best with drought-tolerant plants that like to dry out between drinks, while routine waterers can keep thirstier plants happy.
If you have cats or dogs, we never recommend a plant that's highly toxic to pets, and we favour the ones rated non-toxic. Beginners get a nudge toward the most forgiving plants — the ones that bounce back from a missed watering or a less-than-perfect spot.
Every recommendation links to its care guide, with light, watering, and pet-safety details — and a printable Plant Passport care card.
